My Story

Hi. My name is Darin Letzring. I put together this blog/website as an extension of one of the “good” addictions in life.

I have been doing triathlon for eight years, and I like to write about it. My hope is that you’ll find something useful here, be it an inspiration to a Personal Challenge Triathlon or get some goals written down or just some motivation that some other dude out there is doing triathlon along with a job, marriage, kids, and community support.

I have a few books and videos available if you are interested. Below are links to an Amazon.com author page, Smashwords.com author page, and all my books and bike trainer videos on Amazon.

Darin, I like your blog, well done. I am a skier, biker, and runner; have been competing in triathlons since 2006 and am 63 years young. You may have already posted it, however you might list in your “Resources” page, the “U.S. Navy Seal Guide To Fitness and Nutrition” ISBN-13: 978-1-60239-030-0. I’ve found it extremely useful and motivating.

Thanks for the kind words! I always look for guys I want to be like when I get to be their age…..you’d probably be that guy I want to be 60+ because I don’t have one in that category right now. A guy who swims in the lane next to me is 75 and is there EVERY day….I want to be like him when I am 75. In any case, I Will put that Seals book in the resources page…great idea!, probably after the Tour of Sufferlandia. It’s all I can do right now to post the day’s efforts.
